Booking direct with an island operator is simple. Here is how it works.

How do I book a trip on Dhiffushi?

Open the trip, choose the date, option and number of people, then send the request on WhatsApp or by email. The operator replies to confirm, usually within a day.

Do I pay a booking fee?

No. You book and pay the operator directly; dhiffushi.org takes no fees or commission.

How do I pay?

You pay the operator the way they ask, often in cash (US dollars or rufiyaa) on the day. Some operators take cards: ask when you book.

What happens if the sea is too rough?

Boat trips only go out in safe conditions. Each operator sets its own terms for a cancelled trip: ask before you book, and keep their reply.

Is snorkelling gear included?

Most snorkelling trips include a mask, fins and a life jacket. Check “What’s included” on each trip.

Can I compare similar trips from different operators?

Yes. Each operator lists its own trip with its own prices; a trip page shows similar trips from the other island operators side by side, so you can compare stops, times, prices and what is included.

What should I wear?

Dhiffushi is a local island: cover shoulders and knees in the village. Swimwear is fine on the boat, on the sandbanks and at the bikini beaches.
