Island customs
Dhiffushi is a local island, not a resort. A few things guests appreciate knowing:
- Swimwear is for the bikini beach. Around the island, cover shoulders and knees.
- Alcohol isn’t available on local islands.
- On Fridays, shops pause for midday prayer and the public ferry doesn’t run.
- Ask before photographing people.
- Leave shells and coral where they are.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea Side Villa, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best vacations of my life. The guest house itself is charming and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms, that made our stay feel like home. But what really made this trip special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Overall, I can't recommend the Sea Side Villa enough. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation, and I can't wait to go back again someday.
